Dear Parents
Another cricket season at Mynthurst is almost upon us.

Most importantly for the Colts, the Club are delighted to have again secured the enthusiastic coaching services of TOBY JOHNS and PAUL GRIFFITHS, the latter now also ECB Level 2 Qualified.

Toby and Paul are able to help the boys with all facets of the game, from the rudimentary basics, right up.

A testament to their work is that a greater number of senior colts than ever, will this year be available to play for the Mynthurst Senior XI.

The 2007 Sessions will again run for 8 weeks from from 13th MAY* to JULY 1st. inclusive, from 10am. to 12 Noon every Sunday at the Cricket Ground. (weather permitting**)

*Registration Day is MAY 13th., also the first session.   The required form will need to be completed and payment made.     I and other Committee members will be at the ground from 9.45 that day to assist with the necessary paperwork and answer any questions. If you can’t make that day, don’t worry, just let me know, and we’ll make other arrangements.

2007 Colts’ Subscriptions are £30 per Colt / £50 for two Colts / £80 for Family. If you know of someone else who might be interested in joining, do please ‘spread the word’; they can email or give me a call.

To assist with the smooth running and a prompt start each week, Colts should arrive ready-changed, 5-10 minutes early if possible. Bats, pads and helmets are all provided by the Club - but NOT protective cricket boxes.

Parents are of course most welcome to stay and watch, part or all of a session; and at the other end, it’s a great help if you can collect on time, or make contact if you have a problem.

** The weather may cause occasional cancellation, but the Club will endeavour to make good, by extending the finish date, subject to interested numbers and availability of the coaches.

Club fixture cards have now been printed, and will be given out on Registration Day, and contain all the relevant contact information, fixtures etc.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could reply to this email, just so that I can gauge likely numbers attending Registration Day and that first session.

Finally if you’re no longer interested in receiving Mynthurst Colts information, or your email or other contact details are changing, please advise me.
