last review 22 July 2010  My first year at this club was in the early nineties 1991/2 I think. Why you ask? as I live in Horley... well I use to work for Legal and general at Kingswood, just the other side of the A217 - I left in 1992 but the rest as they say is history!!Both teams getting changed in a portakabin (about 4 o'clock on the picture if that makes sense). The new building (top right in the picture) was opened in 1993 by Alf Gover England and Kent. 2003 was the clubs centenary and Alec Stewart England & Surrey, brought another 11 players along for a match to remember - 12 a side. If I remember correctly I took more wickets than any one that day, well in the Tadworth team that is. and on his way to Edgbaston after this match he decided to retire from International Cricket. Colts Cricket here at Tadworth took off thanks mainly to one person I call him CQ or Coach you may know him as Clive Quinton. CQ now devotes his time to Sutton Cricket Club and his sons cricket. My first year of coaching (ECB Qualified) here at Tadworth Cricket Club was 2006 and I took over the head coach duties from CQ in 2007. 2008 their Under 10's walked away with every thing their League and the divisional play off final . Well played all and practise and concentration to repeat in to 2009? Have been a playing member of this club since 1990/1991. but you can visit their website at www.surreydowns.org/tadworth . 2010 Junior numbers are close to 150. 2010...Friday Nights - 30 April - 13 August 2010 6-8pm. 5years old to U11Monday Nights - 10 May - 16 August 2010 6-8pm. 11 - U13 (late start due to Bank Holiday on 3rd May 2010) My Session Plans: Tadworth's U11 are league champions and this is after not fielding a side for one match 2011...Friday Nights - 29 April - 12 August 2011 6-8pm.
