| Head Coach - ECB UK Coaching Certificate Level 3 (L3CCCR)
Paul is progressing his qualification - Head Coach Award from the ECB. This page is a snapshot of how Paul is working towards achievement. I am currently consolidating the paperwork with the view to sending off on DVD and or CD - May 2010
Course Modules Attended by Paul:The ECB UKCC Level 3 is now 3 Modules which are attended over a three month period. Each module is residential. Paul attended the following..
My Selected Players:I only need 2 (Player 1 & 2) for this Head Coach award but I felt selecting three favourable players who were up for it was a better option.
Their age and ability vary from Junior to Adult but in my opinion they have the nous and drive to improve themselves hopefully augmented by my input as a coach and the 8 sessions (minimum), but also with their own skill at analysis their own ability and achievement.
More work? Yes as 3 players instead of 2, but worth it I think to allow me to achieve Head Coach - ECB UKCC Level 3, sooner rather than later. For my assessment and logbook I will only submit information relating to two players - Player 1 and Player 2.
Sessions need to be a minimum of 8 per player with the video shoot perhaps an extra 9th one.
PLAYER 1 - Mathew Robinson:
PLAYER 2 - Nick Robinson:
PLAYER 3 - Gareth Walliss:A not so typical all rounder who enjoys the outdoors through out the UK, Europe and the World I think.
Enjoys his cricket and is looking to improve his general all round fitness (aerobic and strength) to reduce injury to nil if he can. Looking to improve his perceived strength in-balance between his left and right hand (too much bottom hand?)
Cricket - Looking to improve correction, looking to achieve greater bowling accuracy (and control) and to have a more rhythmical bowling action that is economical and repeatable every time. Would like to eradicate wides from the scorebook.
Confidence with the bat has been proved with a maiden 50 in 2009 although has a perception that his right hand is stronger than his left - This is probably true for it is his dominant hand.
Coaching Sessions - St Bedes School REDHILL Surrey:
Planned Coaching Sessions - Epsom College Surrey:
Planned Coaching Sessions - Other venues:
VENUES:Availability of players and then the venues is difficult to pin down together. The costs also vary greatly, but these costs are not a concern but the coaching at each session is of course the priority. I have made enquiries (costs and availability) to all venues listed below. Those that I have used are in YELLOW.
I carry out a Risk Assessment for all venues I coach at.
PAUL'S FORMS:these will appear here when I write them. Pauls Questionnaire Q&A Form Paul's Bowling Diary Form XLS - XLSX - ExampleSample
Sponsors:with thanks to those that are sponsoring the cost of venue hire.
Gallery:Pictures from the Course Modules but alas no pictures from the actual sessions. All pictures are from the venues.
