Cricket Coaching Mat:

The designer of the CRICKET COACHING MAT is David Cooper. David is an ECB registered coach and a teacher at a comprehensive school in West Yorkshire where he has been the master in charge of cricket for the last 20 years.

CRICKET COACHING MATS are brand new pieces of equipment designed to give youngsters the time and opportunity to improve their batting techniques on a perfect batting surface. The mat works brilliantly in the back garden for the young cricketer playing alone; it works terrifically in the school gym or sports field and it works superbly at club level - keeping all the players engaged, focused and employed in the purpose they're there for - playing cricket, improving at cricket and loving the game.

It provides a simple, effective batting space together with a set of flexible tees on which to practice all the shots - from cover drives to on drives, square cuts to pulls and sweeps and the full range of defensive strokes - all the time supported by guidance from three sources.

A shot can be practised hundreds of times and this will allow you to play the shot in an expert way. They do say to master a shot you should repeat up to 10,000 times, this proves practise practise will do it. The Cricket Coaching Mat from David Cooper will make a positive difference..

There are three types/weights depending on where it will be used. The Cricket Coaching Mat in the above picture is the Swaledale.
